This place has been more dead than usual, which is depressing.

Brendan and Toby from Red Scare conducted the FIRST EVAR!11!!1 AIMcast a week or so ago and you can read that here. Also, Chris's side project Sundowner's first album is coming out on March 13th, and you can read about that on MySpace, of course.

Just in case you didn't know, TLA will be on Local 101 on what people like to call Q101 tonight. Don't ask me about the station though, I have to listen to Ryan Seacrest on the radio. It would be mega cool if someone could, you know, record this or something like that for the people who don't get Q101.

And here is a link to part of  (I assume) their JBTV interview from a few weeks ago. It's a fairly entertaining interview where they talk about their videos. But I was more disturbed by the fact that the interviewer looks just like my english teacher, but without the beard. It's uncanny.
ANYWAY, here is the link to the mp3 of that same interview, just in case you want to listen to the same interview...on the go.

And how was the FuelTV performance? I'm kinda behind the times with my nokia non-flip phone as I watch Dawson's Creek. I'm quite interested to know or someone could possibly upload this or something.

Attention Chicagolanders! The Lawrence Arms are going to be on that show that you all like called JBTV. Don’t ask us man, we don’t even have NBC in SF. That show is on at 11pm and it starts airing on May 24th and runs for about two weeks. Apparently they liked the lovable Larrys so much that they are running three episodes worth of shit on them…and it’s all from their neighborhood bar, The L&L!

If anyone could record this and/or get it on YouTube...do so. Please.

Ok. So a few years ago when the Arms were going on "hiatus," they didn't come to Texas. So I hopped a plane and flew to San Francisco to see them play. (Pathetic, I know...) Anyway, I taped it, and am going to try and post the entire show. Here are the first few songs. Enjoy!

12:39 am - Chris is cool.

unibowler
Ok. So a few years ago, my band got this "cool" idea to have our favorite musicians talk shity about us. We were called Scamper but have since changed our name to Plan B Pursuit. Anyway, we got a bunch of people to do it, including all the Larry Arms, Fat Mike, The Fight, Mad Caddies. Here is Chris doing it for us. I'll try to upload Bren and Neil, but it's on a different camera and will be hard to get. But, go to http://www.myspace.com/pbp and tell us if we really suck. Thanks.

So the boys were on XM Radio a few days ago and I recorded it because, let's face it, I'm awesome. So here it is for your listening pleasure.

Setlist:
The Dancing Machine
Lose Your Illusion 1
The Devil's Takin' Names
100 Resolutions
Porno And Snuff Films
Quincentuple Your Money
Beyond The Embarassing Style
Cut It Up
Like A Record Player

http://s38.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=0YYA2RWO0X8NY1PQ323Y64CWFK

They start out kinda rough but by the end it's all good. I'm not sure how great the actual quality of the audio is, though; the files are pretty freaking small. Let me know when/if the download goes out, I'll reupload.
